Anne's quizzes collects the following personal information:
Use of Anne's Quizzes is not contingent upon entering any personal information. User-generated quizzes and wordsearch puzzles are posted in a separate directory and the user is provided with their unique URL (as a sub-directory of www.cooperis.com/quizzes) for their own quiz or puzzle. No links are made on this site to their quiz or puzzle unless permission is requested explicitly by Anne Cooper and granted via email. If the user has not chosen to provide an email contact, then their content will never be linked from the main site and their quiz or puzzle will remain private to them and Anne Cooper. Guestbook entries require a name and comments; all other fields are optional. The guestbook does not automatically update the online version. Instead, notification is sent to Anne Cooper, who will then add the info to the guestbook at her discretion. If the user has not certified that he/she is at least 18 years of age or has a parent's permission to enter the information, then that information will never be added to the online guestbook. Information collected by Anne's Quizzes is not sold to third parties. It is used solely on this site and to allow users to create their own quizzes and puzzles. In keeping with the nature of the web, the ability to link to their favorite website or receive email comments on their creations is allowed. Users may, at their discretion, include links to their own creations from a separate site or they may chose to email a link to their friends. This capability is not included on Anne's Quizzes; they must use their own resources to make or send links. It is entirely up to them how public they wish their quiz or wordsearch puzzle to be. All information collected by Anne's Quizzes is reviewed solely by Parents are welcome to contact Anne Cooper to review any information their child may have entered. Please contact Anne (see above) with the child's name and email. Anne will then determine if that child has entered any information and if so, what kind. Parents may then request that any or all information be deleted. Parents may request that their child not enter any more information. In that case, Anne will refuse to post any of their subsequent entries and there will never be a link on Anne's Quizzes to any of their work. It is possible that a child could circumvent this prohibition by creating a bogus identity, but then that personal information would not be accurate and thus not threatening.
